Off-road racing? we love it!
This is only...
MOTORSTORM

GAMEPLAY
This is dirt track racing at it's finest.  We have cars, trucks, bikes, and atv's all pitted against one another in fast paced racing action.  The cool thing with the tracks in motorstorm, is that they all have multiple routs, meaning that you can do all three laps, and go a different way each time, and i can even attest to this. It doesn't have a speedometer similar to Mario Kart, and you use a lot of boosting, and by that I mean a lot.  The coolest aspect is how awesome the crashes are.  Also this was one of the first and only racing games to utilize the sixaxis motion controls, so you can also play this like Mario Kart Wii, which is really sweet.

GRAPHICS
The desert canyons look tremendous, the car models are animated well, so I can"t complain in this department.  The Crashes are very realistic looking, and are a lot of fun to watch.  It, like most of the launch window games for the system, it doesn't have the best graphics, although they were super sweet for the time.

CONTENT
The car crashes, while fun, could be unsettling to some players.  There are some songs with suggestive lyrics that play in the background, but this can be cut off in the options menu.

CONCLUSION
Motorstorm is a game that while fun, is lacking in other areas, such as the lack of splitscreen multiplayer.  It is fun, but as with a lot of games, flawed.
